The Big Bang Theory Star Simon Helberg Make Political Statement At SAG Awards

Simon Helberg

The Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg and his wife, actress Jocelyn Towne, conveyed a powerful message on Sunday’s SAG Awards.

Helberg, stepped out with a sign that read: “Refugees welcome.” Across Towne’s chest, it read: “Let Them In.”

The political statements were a show of solidarity for the protests happening across the nation, as dozens of refugees from Syria, Iraq and other banned countries were detained at U.S. airports over the weekend as a result of Trump’s executive order.

Helberg, Towne and Washington are just the latest celebrities to speak out against Donald Trump’s executive order of banning refugees from entering the U.S.
