DOOM Release Date And New Trailer Surfaced

DOOM

Bethesda Softworks and Id Software have revealed a new trailer for DOOM, the latest entry in the long running franchise, and with the gory new video comes the release date for the game, May 13. 2016. DOOM is set to debut on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

The DOOM Collector’s Edition was also revealed featuring a 12-inch-tall statue of the fearsome Revenant made from high-quality PVC. The Revenant, which was modeled using actual in-game 3D files, stands sentry on a base-lit turbine that slowly rotates internally, casting an eerily flickering glow onto the nightmarish glory of this iconic DOOM demon. The collector’s edition will cost $119.99.

There is no taking cover or stopping to regenerate health as you beat back Hell’s raging demon hordes. Combine your arsenal of futuristic and iconic guns, upgrades, movement and an advanced melee system to knock down, slash, stomp, crush, and blow apart demons in creative and violent ways. As the iconic DOOM Marine, you wake to learn that the Union Aerospace Corporation’s facility on Mars has been decimated and overrun by hordes of demons. Humanity’s survival rests in your hands – and your hands alone. Fight Like Hell.

DOOM will offer new inventive mechanics for players in addition to expanding on the ones players love about the franchise. Taking a page from the likes of Mortal Kombat, players will be able to perform fatality moves on enemies in the game, who will also have the option of performing different killing moves on the player as well.
