STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS – Planet of Jakku in 360-Degree Video

This video for Star Wars: The Force Awakens puts the viewer on Rey’s speeder bike and takes you on a ride through the desert terrain of the planet Jakku. Video offers a 360-degree view of the world, Which is quite remarkable.

The video shows off the ruins from the Battle of Jakku, which includes the massive crashed Star Destroyer we saw in the first teaser for the film. You can also hear the new droid BB-8 at the end of the video.

Today Facebook is excited to announce that they’re rolling out 360-degree videos in News Feed. There are a number of publishers sharing new 360 videos on Facebook today, including Star Wars, Discovery, GoPro, LeBron James & Uninterrupted, NBC’s Saturday Night Live, and Vice. Disney and Lucasfilm are proud to debut an exclusive 360 experience from the upcoming movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens that brings fans inside the beloved universe.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in theaters on December 18th.
