STATE OF DECAY 2 Comes Microtransactions Free

State of Decay 2

Microsoft recently revealed that the new zombie-survival RPG, State of Decay 2 will not feature any kind of microtransactions, how awesome is this! A game with the microtransactions, there is something alien about the news.

In an interview with IGN, the devs for State of Decay 2 has verified that the studio isn’t thinking on placing any microtransactions in the game of any sort. Undead Labs is taking a distinct path opposed to other game developers, who feature microtransactions in games and some players feel that it is a way that studios take more money beyond the purchase price. The more money you have the more successful player you be, at least in GTA 5.

Konami also took some enormous backlash when they released Metal Gear Survive, that would charge players an extra fee whenever they create a new save slot without deleting the previous one, this is the most outrageous and stupendous thing I have ever heard. This is more or like robbing gamers.

Undead Studios is not the only studio to go microtransactions free, Sony’s upcoming new game of the God of War franchise has also confirmed that players can expect that the game will be microtransaction-free.

State of Decay 2 will launch on May 22 for the Xbox One and PC, which will be a Play Anywhere title. The game will be priced at $30 for the Standard Edition, and $50 for the Ultimate Edition, which will include an Early Access pass, that will allow players to play the game four days earlier. This is not it, The game will come with both the Independence and Daybreak Packs. If you want you can pre-order the game from here.
