10 Halloween Costumes You Should Avoid This Year

Halloween Costumes

Halloween this year will be different for sure, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some costumes that are just off-limits and not cool to wear.

With the pandemic still going on strong and wreaking havoc in the United States, Halloween celebrations will probably be socially distanced. Large crowds, big parties, and even trick-or-treating is off the table, but there are still ways to celebrate safely. Whether you stir up something last-minute, get dressed as something quarantine-themed, pandemic can’t get rid of the Halloween spirit.

That being said, there are clearly some costumes that are just very insensitive regarding the events of this year. Here are 10 Halloween costumes you’ll want to avoid if you want to be a decent human being.

I cannot believe in 2020, I am still reminding you all that wearing blackface is never OK. That goes for Halloween costumes, day to day makeup. Just don’t do it! It’s so much easier to not be racist than you think it is, I swear.
