Guido Van Helten is a Australian artist from Brisbane, Australia whose incredible murals made him famous all over the world and his art works span entire buildings and structures.
Cities and building owners around the world commission the artist for his larger-than-life portraits of people.
Van Helten adds:
“Before I create a work I really want to learn about the people who live there. I want to really try and develop a work that speaks to them”
Van Helten’s preferred medium is aerosol and while many people may categorize his work as ‘street art’, Guido prefers to think of himself as a muralist.
