15 Pics From TSA Employees Secret Facebook Group With 18,000 People

Some months ago, an investigation revealed a secret Border Patrol Facebook group which was secret but the group was packed with things vulgar, sexist and racist that were made by federal border agents. From an offensive illustration featuring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to jokes about migrant deaths, the data left many people totally baffled. And if you think that group was all evil, well, check out, TSA employees are no better than the border agents.

NBC Washington reported that Transportation Security Administration workers have their own Facebook group with 18,000 current and retired employees called TSA Breakroom. The workers used it to release about their managers, coworkers and of course the passengers who, in some cases, were labeled as ‘idiots’. Posts were packed with hate, frustration and racial stereotypes. While the group is no longer available now, NBC Washington gathers some of the completely outrageous posts before it went dark.

TSA made a statement to News4 I-Team in which they said that the page “is not affiliated with TSA” and “an employee’s off-duty internet use must not negatively reflect on TSA”, the posts obviously demonstrate problems within the institution. An inspection by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General told staff turnover, shortages, pay and “excessive use of overtime” as elements of lower job happiness and spirit.
