When The Office was released, the first season was received with mixed reviews. However, the second and consecutive seasons were met with highly positive reviews. Today, it has remained a cult classic and has inspired thousands of memes on the Internet—despite being off the air since 2013

The series depicts the everyday lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. To simulate the look of an actual documentary, it is filmed in a single-camera setup, without a studio audience or a laugh track. The show debuted on NBC as a mid-season replacement and ran for nine seasons, and 201 episodes. The Office features Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, B. J. Novak and Ed Helms are on the main cast. Series star Carell, who portrayed Michael Scott, left the series near the end of the seventh season.
The show also stars Creed Bratton who plays a fictional version of himself, as a quality assurance manager of Dunder Mifflin. His character seems to have sociopathic tendencies and says tons of unsettling things. He also has a penchant for stealing and is quite forgetful. For some reason, his co-workers would usually tolerate or simply ignore his shenanigans.
Creators of the show assure fans that the character is not like the real Creed Bratton. Although there are similarities, the actual Creed Bratton is more likable and good-hearted in real life.
