In 1988 THE SIMPSONS Predicted The Disney and Fox Merger

Of course, The Simpsons predicted a big crazy event like the merger of two giants. Back in 1998, during the 10th season of the series, an episode aired called “When You Dish Upon A Star.” It contains a scene in the episode that revealed the outside of Fox studios and there’s a big sign in the front of the building that reads, “A Division Of Walt Disney Co”.

And now as of today deal between Disney and Fox was made official and it’s just crazy that the creative team behind The Simpsons predicted this, among many other things. Now Disney some of the biggest giants including Lucas Arts and Marvel.
