2 New Posters for PIXELS, Featuring Centipede and Space Invaders

Sony Pictures has released two new posters for their upcoming film Pixels, which features an army of characters from classic video games attacking several major city around the world. I love the both posters which represent the games Centipede and Space Invaders, and they are causing havoc in London and Paris. Awesome no New York city this time!

The film was produced by Happy Madison production, and it brings together a number of retro video game characters including Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Galaga, Frogger, Q*bert, and Space Invaders. The movie was based on an original short film of the same name made by Patrick Jean.

The movie was directed by Chris Columbus and star cast consists of Peter Dinklage, Adam Sandler, Josh Gad, and Michelle Monaghan.

In Pixels, when intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults.  President Will Cooper (James) has to call on his childhood best friend, ’80s video game championSam Brenner (Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Dinklage and Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet.  Monaghan plays the team’s unique weapons specialist.

Release Date May 15th, 2015.
