2 New Sully TV Spots Released, Starring Tom Hanks

Warner Bros. Pictures has just released two Sully TV spots, packed with the awesome new footage from the upcoming biopic of Captain “Sully” Sullenberger starring Tom Hanks in the title role.

On January 15, 2009, the world witnessed the “Miracle on the Hudson” when Captain Sully glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career.

Sully also stars Aaron Eckhart as Sully’s co-pilot, Jeff Skiles, and Oscar nominee Laura Linney as Sully’s wife, Lorraine Sullenberger.

Sully movie opens in theaters on September 9.
