The film is directed by Chris Columbus from a screenplay written by Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling and a screen story penned by Patrick Jean, Herlihy, and Adam Sandler, based on Jean’s 2010 Internet short film of the same name. The film stars Adam Sandler,Kevin James, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox, Ashley Benson, and Jane Krakowski.

THE NEON DEMON

The Neon DemonDirector Nicolas Winding Refn has added a new film project to his pipeline called The Neon Demon. The movie is described as a horror story that is set in Los Angeles, and it features a young female-led cast. According to Deadline, The Neon Demon will be his next project. When talking about the film, to Refn said,

“One morning I woke and realized I was both surrounded and dominated by women. Strangely, a sudden urge was planted in me to make a horror film about vicious beauty.”

Dracula Untold  is a 2014 dark fantasy epic action film directed by Gary Shore in his feature film debut and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. Rather than focus onIrish novelist Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula, the film creates an origin story for its title character, Count Dracula, by re-imagining the story of Vlad the Impaler. Luke Evans portrays the title character, and Sarah Gadon, Dominic Cooper, Art Parkinson, and Charles Dance appear in supporting roles.

The Maze Runner is a 2014 science fiction dystopian action thriller film directed by Wes Ball, based on James Dashner’s 2009 novel of the same name. The film is the first installment in The Maze Runner film series and was produced by Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and Lee Stollman with a screenplay by Noah Oppenheim, Grant Pierce Myers, and T.S. The story follows sixteen-year-old Thomas, portrayed by O’Brien, who awakens in a rusty elevator with no memory of who he is, only to learn he’s been delivered to the middle of an intricate maze, along with a slew of other boys, who have been trying to find their way out of the ever-changing labyrinth — all while establishing a functioning society in what they call the Glade. Principal photography began in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on May 13, 2013 and officially concluded on July 12, 2013.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is a 2014 neo-noir crime thriller film and follow-up to the 2005 film Sin City. Directed by Robert Rodriguez andFrank Miller, the script is written by Miller, and is primarily based on the second book in the Sin City series by Miller.

One of the smaller plots of the film is based on the short story “Just Another Saturday Night”, which is collected in Booze, Broads, & Bullets, the sixth book in the comic series. Two original stories (“The Long Bad Night” and “Nancy’s Last Dance”) were created exclusively for the film written by Miller. The film was released on August 22, 2014.

The Hunger Games Mockingjay - Part 1

Mockingjay is a 2010 science fiction novel by author Suzanne Collins. It is the last installment of The Hunger Games, following 2008’s The Hunger Games and 2009’s Catching Fire. The book continues the story of Katniss Everdeen, who agrees to unify the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical Capitol. The hardcover and audiobook editions of Mockingjay were published by Scholastic on August 24, 2010, six days after the ebook edition went on sale. The book sold 450,000 copies in the first week of release, exceeding the publisher’s expectations. It received a generally positive reaction from critics.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie is a 2004 traditional animated adventure comedy film based on the Nickelodeon television series, SpongeBob SquarePants. The film was directed and produced by series creator Stephen Hillenburg, and stars the regular television cast (Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass and Mr. Lawrence) with guest performances by Scarlett Johansson, Jeffrey Tambor, Alec Baldwin and David Hasselhoff. Inherent Vice

Inherent Vice is a 2014 crime comedy-drama film directed and adapted for screen by Paul Thomas Anderson, based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Pynchon. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Katherine Waterston, Reese Witherspoon, Benicio del Toro, Jena Malone, Maya Rudolph, and Martin Short. It is the first feature film adapted from a work by Pynchon.

Nightcrawler is a 2014 crime thriller film written and directed by Dan Gilroy in his directorial debut. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal with Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed, and Bill Paxton. Gyllenhaal plays a driven young man who begins shooting footage of accidents and crimes in Los Angeles to sell to news channels.

Transformers: Age of Extinction  is a 2014 science fiction action film based on the Transformers franchise. It is the fourth installment of the live-action Transformers film series and the final installment for Michael Bay to direct and stars Mark Wahlberg in the lead role. It is both a sequel to 2011’s Dark of the Moon and a soft reboot of the franchise, the film takes place five years later, after the Decepticon invasion of Chicago. Like its predecessors, the film is directed by Michael Bay and executive produced by Steven Spielberg. Ehren Kruger is the film’s screenwriter, having written every Transformers film since Revenge of the Fallen. The film features an entirely new cast of human characters and is the first in the series to feature the Dinobots. Returning Transformers include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Leadfoot & Brains.

The film was in “development hell” for over a decade following the release of Jurassic Park III in 2001. The film was initially scheduled to be released in the summer of 2005. The release date was pushed back several times while the script went through revisions. Colin Trevorrow is directing a screenplay he co-wrote with Derek Connolly, with Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall producing. Steven Spielberg, director of the series’ first two films, will act as executive producer as he did for the third film. The film is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015 in the United States and Canada.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent

The Divergent Series: Insurgent is an upcoming science fiction action film directed by Robert Schwentke, based on Insurgent, the second book in the Divergent trilogy, written by Veronica Roth. It is the sequel to the 2014 film Divergent and the second installment in The Divergent Series, produced by Lucy Fisher, Pouya Shabazian and Douglas Wick, with a screenplay by Brian Duffield and Akiva Goldsman. Robert Schwentke took over from Neil Burger as director, while Burger will serve as the executive producer of the film. Adding to the existing cast, the supporting cast was filled out with Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Suki Waterhouse,Rosa Salazar, Daniel Dae Kim, Jonny Weston, Emjay Anthony, and Keiynan Lonsdale.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is a 2014 science fiction film directed by Matt Reeves and written by Mark Bomback, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. It stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. It is the sequel to the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which began 20th Century Fox’s reboot of the original Planet of the Apes series.
