2017 Video of Stan Lee Talking About the Making of SPIDER-MAN and How It Was Almost Cancelled

In 2017 Stan Lee provided the keynote graduation speech at the UCLA Extension Certificate Graduation Ceremony. In the below speech, he remembers how Spider-Man was conceived and also told how the iconic character was almost canceled!

The point he makes in his speech is that “If you have an idea that you genuinely think is good, don’t let some idiot talk you out of it.”

This is an excellent video and it is worth watching, especially if you’re a fan of Lee and the things he created. While Lee maybe not with us anymore, he has left behind several things like this for his fans to find all over again or view and experience for the first time.
