Everyone wants to visit the beach for surfing, sun and simply just for the swim but sometimes you find something weird or something valuable on the humble beach and sometimes they’re super valuable and sometimes they’re super random. The items you can find on a beach are unpredictable and that’s what makes them so great to find.

1. A dog walker found ambergris (highly valuable whale vomit used for perfume) on a beach and sold it at an auction for £11,000 ($16,253.05).

2. Big chunks of ice the size of icebergs randomly appeared on the coast of Cape Cod National Seashore, Massachusetts.

Meteorologist Eric Fisher claimed it was a “once-in-a-generation” event.
