3 Directors Ready To Direct Miss Croft In New Tomb Raider Reboot

Warner Bros. and MGM doing Tomb Raider movie reboot on the fast track to production, Now according to The Tracking Board there are three directors the studios are looking at to take it on. These directors are Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty), Catherine Hardwicke(Lords of Dogtown, Twilight), and Mimi Leder (The Peacemaker, DeepImpact).

According to the report, Tricia Brock (The Walking Dead) was originally offered the opportunity to direct the film, but apparently she passed on it. Whoever jumps on to direct the film will direct from a script written by Evan Daugherty (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Divergent).

Tomb Raider is based on the video game franchise that centers on Lara Croft, an archeologist who travels the world hunting down priceless artifacts. It always turns out to be a hair-raising adventure for her where death lurks around every corner.
