3D Printed Wolverine Claws That Can Extend and Retract As You Flex

Advancer Technologies has released a video and step-by-step instructions on how to make your own Wolverine claws that extend and retract when you flex! They call them “Bionic Claws” for copyright issues but they did play the music from Wolverine in the video to make it more interesting. Watch the video below.

Our tutorial will teach you to build bionic claws using our fourth-generation muscle sensor, the MyoWare. Simply flex your forearm muscle and *SNIKT*, a fraction of a second later the 4 inch claws extend out. Relax your forearm to retract the claws. We’ve even added a muscle-activated locking mechanism in case you want the claws to stay out without keeping your muscle flexed.
