5 Jurassic Park Cosplay Ideas for Comic-Con

1. Tyrannosaurus Rex

Of course, the biggest and boldest creature in every Jurassic Park film has always been the T-Rex or a derivative species, as was the case with the genetically modified Indominus Rex from Jurassic World. The short-legged, gigantic-bodied, and largely misunderstood villain is also worth mentioning first because you’ll find no shortage of pre-made T-Rex costumes available online. In fact, you could even find an animatronic dinosaur for sale if you wanted to go the extra mile.

2. Dr. Hammond

If we’re ranking costumes and characters in order of importance, we simply can’t proceed without mentioning the eccentric billionaire who created the original Jurassic Park. This is a great budget-friendly option because this costume is actually more like an outfit that could possibly be assembled in a single visit to a thrift store.

3. Velociraptor

The Velociraptors have played a pivotal role in all of the Jurassic Park movies thus far, especially the more recent Jurassic World films. This costume is ideal for child-parent duos or couples because the adult or taller partner in the relationship can wear a T-Rex suit while the others wear raptor costumes.

4. Jurassic World Claire

Claire Dearing is another Jurassic Park character whose appearance is relatively easy and affordable to emulate with a few simple pieces of clothing. Grab a white dress, purple shirt, neutrally colored high heels, and make-up that matches Claire’s, and you’ve got a great basis already. This one is also great for guys who don’t want to go through the hassle of dealing with accessories, masks, costume make-up, and similar theatrical hassles – it’s really just an outfit consisting of a blue shirt, brown vest, denim jeans, and brown boots, although having the same hairstyle and being within the same general demographic will help as well.
