Emilia Clarke became a familiar face all over the world thanks to her amazing acting in Game of Thrones as Daenerys Targaryen, which, in the early seasons of the show, often required her to do nude scenes. She did those nude scenes but she never like it or stand by them, and now rumor has it she hasn’t appeared naked on screen in years because she told the producers she’d rather be “known for [her] acting and not [her] breasts.”
In a new interview with The Daily Mail, Clarke spoke about how she can’t stand sex scenes on TV:
“Sex scenes should be more subtle. I’m British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway — I can’t stand it…I don’t want to have sex thrown in my face and I’ve always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself. Most sex scenes you see in films or on TV are gratuitous and they’re usually just to attract an audience. On screen, the subtler the better.”
What you think about her remarks? Do you think she did it in the start to get the fame and spotlight and now when she got it all she denies her actions? It is not like she was forced to do it. She accepted the part on her own free will or I am sure there will a long line of actresses who wanted to play Daenerys Targaryen.
