81MP Picture of the Moon Which Took 50,000 Shots


This image of the moon was taken on a Sony a7 II mirrorless camera, not some very fancy or expensive NASA equipment. And it only took 50,000 shots.

Andrew McCarthy, a veteran astrophotography lover and all-around winner of patience, merged 50,000 photos. Many of these photos were taken on his sony, and the rest were taken on a $250 Astro camera.
