A FRIENDS Reunion Special Is Really Happening with the Cast at HBO Max

Friends

Friends reunion was in talks for a very long time but finally, it is happening, and according to Deadline, it’s will finally happen at HBO Max. The Friends reunion special will be unscripted, and all of the main stars will be on the show.

After “tough negotiations,” Friends stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry “have reached an arrangement in principle with series producer Warner Bros. TV to do what I hear would be an hourlong special.”

In the report mentioned, each of the six stars will be paid in the $3 million-$4 million for the special. The whole amount of money spent on talent is said to be about $20 million. This is a whole lot of money but I’m sure Warner Media will make tons more in the years to come. I love Friends, and I would love to see them back again and even in a new series because after all these years there is still not a single show which can match the chemistry and the comic level of the 90s show.

It’s been exciting to see how the popularity of Friends jumped up after it becomes available on Netflix with a younger generation finding and watching it for the very first time.
