James Hobson aka The Hacksmith on YouTube and his loyal followers have come to anticipate amazing things from him.

And he did not disappoint his fans when he tried and successfully created the world’s first real-life lightsaber, which is plasma-based and yes, it’s retractable.

It burns at 4,000 degrees and is capable of slicing through steel. Hobson also figured out how to make the lightsaber burn in various colors.
