A Petition to Have Danny DeVito Play Wolverine in the MCU

After Game of Thrones, we have another petition that was started to have Danny DeVito take on the role of Wolverine in the MCU and it’s getting a lot of traction. It won’t ever happen I know but its a very amusing demand. While it would be funny to see a comedy short featuring DeVito as a rabid Wolverine in berserker rage slicing and dicing baddies, there’s no way that Marvel would ever cast him in the role.

Here’s the note that was posted with the petition:

“The only man able to take the throne after Hugh Jackman. We believe that if Wolverine is to make an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that the only man able to pull it off is Danny DeVito.”

Yeah, this is meant to be a joke, but it’s actually gaining some traction with the fans, as it has over 20,000 signatures. As the signatures grow the creator of the petition said:

“I see the petition blew up again! This is exciting we have passed many milestones on our journey to greatness!! Everyone keep sharing the petition, and soon we may have what we want.”
