Check out this new trailer starring Alexandra Daddario’s (San Andreas) upcoming drama Lost Girls & Love Hotels. Daddario plays an American English teacher who is living in Tokyo, Japan. This is definitely an exciting project for Daddario to take on and it is a super dark and moody tone.
The movie is based on Catherine Hanrahan’s book, and is described as “the movie is a provocative journey inviting you to get lost within the darkest corridors of Japan in hopes of experiencing fleeting moments of beauty. We follow the passionate tale of love and lust between a haunted American English teacher Margaret and a dashing Yakuza named Kazu as their affair tears them apart and reshapes them across Tokyo’s landscape of dive bars, alleyways, and three-hour love hotels.”
Lost Girls & Love Hotels also stars Takehiro Hira (The Fighter Pilot, The Floating Castle), Carice Van Houten (Game of Thrones), Misuzu Kanno (37 Seconds, Vise) and Kate Easton (Where’d You Go, Bernadette).
Astrakan Film AB will release the movie in select theaters and VOD on September 4th.
