Alien Queen Appears On The New Alien: Covenant Poster

20th Century Fox revealed the new poster of Alien: Covenant and poster look incredible and the alien queen is terrifying, H.R. Giger-inspired relief sculpture, You can see at the very top center a very specific shape: The head of an Alien Queen!

Check out the alien queen from James Cameron’s Aliens and tell us that doesn’t look a lot like the Queen’s very distinctive dome. Scott is bringing back Xenomorphs, he’s gotta have something laying the eggs, right? The Alien Queen was designed by Cameron and make-up artist Stan Winston, extrapolating from Giger’s original designs. She was introduced in Aliens, then also made appearances in 1997’s Alien: Resurrection and 2004’s AvP: Alien vs Predator.

In Alien: Covenant, the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, and James Franco.

Alien: Covenant will hit theaters on May 19.
