Amazon’s Awesome-Looking Fantasy Series CARNIVAL ROW, 2 New Trailers Revealed

CARNIVAL ROW

Check out the two new trailers for Amazon’s amazing-looking fantasy series, Carnival Row, were shown at Comic-Con. The trailers concentrate on the two main characters of the new tv series…  Vignette, who is played by Cara Delevingne (Suicide Squad), and Philo, who is played by Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings).

Each of the trailers offers some excellent new footage and a lot more interesting details on the story and the world and time it is set in. I like what I’m seeing here in these trailers below. This is going to be cool of a great show, and I’m looking forward to looking at it.

Carnival Row is an eight-part series set in a Victorian fantasy world filled with “mythological immigrant creatures whose exotic homelands were invaded by the empires of man.” Bloom takes on the role of a human detective, Rycroft Philostrate, and Delevingne stars as a refugee faerie named Vignette Stonemoss. “They rekindle a dangerous affair despite an increasingly intolerant society and Vignette harbors a secret that endangers Philo’s world during his most important case yet: a string of gruesome murders threatening the uneasy peace of the Row.”

The series also stars “David Gyasi (Interstellar) as Agreus, a mysteriously wealthy faun who moves into an affluent human neighborhood in defiance of the social order; Karla Crome (Under the Dome) as Tourmaline, a quick-witted faerie poet inspired from her war-torn homeland; Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) as Piety Breakspear, the regal and intelligent matriarch of the great family that rules the city of The Burgue; and Tamzin Merchant (Salem) as Imogen Spurnrose, a young woman who sees in Agreus an excuse to turn her aristocratic family’s fading fortunes around.”

Carnival Row will air on Amazon Prime on August 30th, 2019.
