AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 1984 Psycho Inspired Teaser Trailer is Here

Check out this awesome new teaser trailer for American Horror Story: 1984, and as you’ll see it was inspired by the famous shower scene from iconic Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, only it takes place in the day time at an outdoor shower stall at a summer camp.

The upcoming season of the anthology horror series is very much inspired by the 80s slasher movie genre. The new season takes place at a Summer Camp called Camp Redwood and is based around a killer who is out to terrorize the counselors and youngsters that they will be looking over.

American Horror Story: 1984 stars Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, John Carroll Lynch, Leslie Grossman, and Matthew Morrison as well as newcomers Angelica Ross (Pose), DeRon Horton (Dear White People), and Olympian Gus Kenworthy.

The show is set to air on FX on September 18th.
