Amy Poehler to guest on ‘The Simpsons’

EW just got some news about the star Amy Poehler will reprise her role as Mr’s Bart the future ex-wife of Bart Simpson in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, executive producer Al Jean.

In the installment, which is set 30 years from now, Jenda (Poehler) is dating a crab-like alien creature and … she’s still not getting along with Bart. “Bart is trying to get over his divorce and he does it in a bit of a Total Recall-type way,” Jean says of the episode. “I won’t give away what happens, but that’s a clue.”

Titled “Days of Future Future,” the episode is a sequel to season 16′s forward-looking “Future-Drama,” in which Poehler first voiced Jenda. It is slated to air in the spring.
