Angelina Jolie-Directed Film FIRST THEY KILLED MY FATHER Trailer is Here

FIRST THEY KILLED MY FATHER

Netflix has revealed the first trailer for the new Angelina Jolie-directed film First They Killed My Father. The movie is based on the memoir of Loung Ung and tells her astonishing true story of enduring the deadly Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1978.

The story is told through her eyes, from the age of five, when the Khmer Rouge came to power, to nine years old. The film depicts the indomitable spirit and devotion of Loung and her family as they struggle to stay together during the Khmer Rouge years.

Jolie has already given some brilliant movies such as Unbroken and By The Sea. This new film from the gorgeous actress looks like an emotional and powerful story.

First They Killed My Father is set to be released on Netflix on September 15th.
