With the most powerful and incredible cast, the new fun trailer for director Guy Ritchie‘s upcoming crime action-comedy The Gentlemen is released. The movie is in the same vein as Ritchie’s earlier cinema work, such as Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. The trailer gives us some more new footage to get a kick out of, and this looks like it’s going to be a fiercely entertaining cinema.
The story for the movie explores the “collision between European ‘old money’ and the modern marijuana business. It follows a British drug lord trying to cash out on his highly successful empire by selling it off to a family of Oklahoma billionaires.”
Matthew McConaughey stars in the movie as Mickey Pearson, the lord over a huge marijuana empire in London. However, when word gets out that he might be leaving the drug empire, he’s challenged by a young up-and-comer played by Henry Golding, and more people come out in an attempt to fill the gap that might be left.
The movie has a brilliant and talented cast that also includes Hugh Grant, Collin Farrell, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Jeremy Strong (Succession), and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes).
