Filip Hodas, AKA Hoodass, is a 3D artist and he is from Prague, Czech Republic, and by looking at his work I can say he is brilliant. He makes surreal and mind-bending renderings that are truly out of this world. Check out his new gripping series of decaying pop culture icons that provides us with a creepy glimpse into an alternative dystopian future. From a burnt out Pac-Man and a deceased Hello Kitty, a distressed GameBoy to a rusted Bender and a Martian Playstation space station, the brilliant artist uses famous video games, fast food brands, cartoons characters and other imagery to scatter the landscape of his pop culture apocalypse, his works are simply defined nostalgia. These look like memories in my brain, old and grotty.
