ARK: SURVIVAL EVOLVED Festive Event And Content Update Revealed

ARK: Survival Evolved

The ARK: Survival Evolved Winter Wonderland event has started and runs until January 5th. The event comes with it boosted rates, presents, and twelve new collectible chibis. This will be the first seasonal event for the ARK Switch version after the content equivalency reboot last month to bring it into line with PC and other console versions.

There are more cool things for ARK players as well, as developer and publisher Studio Wildcard has taken its revealing as an opportunity to outline some big current and future content updates.

A new expanded story update has been released for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players, bringing content that was only previously available on ARK’s Nintendo Switch port to universal availability. This content features opening and ending cinematics, as well as voiceovers from talents including David Tennant and Madeleine Madden.

Switch players will also be feeling the advantages of new content, with the release of the ARK: Aberration Expansion Pack on December 26th.

December 23rd will celebrate the launch of ARK’s Survival Of The Fittest crossplay prototype, where PC players will be able to try out the competitive battle mode, which has been rebuilt from scratch.

ARK: Survival Evolved is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
