The Promise is a historical epic tale set in the last days of the Ottoman Empire during the Armenian Genocide. The story for the film follows a love triangle between Michael, a medical student (Oscar Isaac), the elegant and modern Ana (Charlotte Le Bon), and Chris, a renowned American journalist based in Paris (Christian Bale).

It is a epic tale of love and it will feature some amazing battle scenes with a gripping storyline and incredible performances, Check out the trailer below.

Empires fall, love survives. When Michael (Isaac), a brilliant medical student, meets Ana (Le Bon), their shared Armenian heritage sparks an attraction that explodes into a romantic rivalry between Michael and Ana’s boyfriend Chris (Bale), a famous American photojournalist dedicated to exposing the political truth. As the Ottoman Empire crumbles into war-torn chaos, their conflicting passions must be deferred while they join forces to get their people to safety and survive themselves.

The Promise will be released April 21st.
