Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer was supposed to be released during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next week, but it didn’t take long for it to leak online. The trailer contains over two minutes of complete awesomeness, and it’s very different from what the studio presented to fans at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the sequel to 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers and the eleventh installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film was scripted and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, the Avengers must work together to defeat Ultron, a technological enemy bent on human extinction.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015.
