Awesome New Details For The Interactive STAR WARS: GALAXY’S EDGE Galactic Starcruiser Hotel

Check out the new details which came out from D23 today regarding the Galactic Starcruiser hotel coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney World.

The ship that visitors will be staying on is called the Halcyon, and it’s going to be an excellent and interactive experience for anyone who stays there. When you are on this ship, you are immersed in the world of Star Wars.

Once you are on board, it will take you on a “journey through space [which] will begin as you board a starship and depart with your fellow guests.” Guest will be able to move from the ship to the theme park as if they’ve never devised from the Star Wars universe. Guests will even get to see the ship leave the real world behind, and thrust into Hyperspace as they head to the starcruiser.

Also, every window on the ship, including the ones in the cabins guests, stay in, will offer a view of space that will continually change as the ship moves across the galaxy.

Guests will be able to book a two-night itinerary aboard the Halcyon and it’s explained that “you will stay in well-appointed cabins, experience onboard dining, make a planet-side excursion to Black Spire Outpost on Batuu, and much more.” The ship will also be filled with crew members and characters from the Star Wars universe. That includes heroes like Rey and Chewbacca and villains from the First Order like Kylo Ren and Stormtroopers.

The fact is that guests will be able to live out their own Star Wars story. Disney Parks said, “Throughout the journey, you will be invited to delve deeper into your personal adventure by participating in onboard activities, interacting with characters, crew, other passengers you meet, and becoming part of the action and the broader Star Wars saga.”

There are also “hidden spaces deep in the mechanics of the ship, perfect for uncovering secrets or holding secret meetings.” So that’ll make things even more fun! The choices that the guests make on the ship and the story that they are building for themselves there will follow them as they play around in the Galaxy’s Edge theme park.
