Awesome Trailer For THE LAST OF US PART II and Release Date Revealed!

last of us

The new trailer revealed the release date for the highly anticipated and long-awaited video game The Last of Us Part II. Sony announced that the game will be released on PlayStation 4 on February 21st, 2020 and it looks awesome!

The new action-packed trailer is packed with awesome new cinematic and gameplay footage. There’s no doubt that fans of the first game are going to be very happy with what the sequel will comes up with. That involves lots of blood and battling all kinds of insane monsters! Joel, who is from the previous game, also makes an appearance at the end of the trailer, telling Ellie, “you think I’d let you do this on your own?”

Here’s the synopsis that was released for the game:

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.

When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson return to reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie in the game, and I’m pretty shocked about it. It’s hard to believe that it been six years since the first game was released!
