Check out the new synopsis that was released, we have our first story details for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s upcoming film, Bad Boys For Life. The story will follow cops Mike Lowrey (Smith) and Marcus Bennett (Lawrence) as they find themselves up against a drug cartel.

Here are the details:

The new installment centers on the Miami PD and its elite AMMO team’s attempt to take down Armando Armas (Scipio), head of a drug cartel. Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature. He is committed to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike (Smith). Nuñez will take on the role of Rite, the tough and funny criminal psychologist who is the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend- and the one who got away.

So, the cartel has a laid a hit on Smith, which should be exciting, especially with the kill order coming from the mother of the head of the cartel. It seems like a solid movie and I love to watch it! I can’t believe its been 15 years when we last saw the Bad Boys movie.

The movie is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script written by Chris Bremner, Peter Craig, and Joe Carnahan, who was previously attached to direct. The movie also stars Paola Nuñez, Jacob Scipio, Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, and Charles Melton.

The film will start production this month and will be released on January 17, 2020.
