Electronic Arts’ upcoming first-person shooter game, Battlefield Hardline & DICE’s upcoming action video game, Star Wars Battlefront have been dated.
During EA’s quarterly earnings call, the publisher revealed that Visceral Games’ Battlefield Hardline will launch in North America on March 17, 2015 and March 19, 2015 in Europe.
DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront is set for a holiday 2015, it will hit the stores just in time for JJ Abrams’ upcoming American epic space opera film, Star Wars: Episode VII, which is due out on December 18, 2015.
Battlefield Hardline is “set against the backdrop of the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals. It revolves around young Miami police detective Nick Mendoza, who is caught up his own personal struggle between right and wrong.
Nick is a former cop who embarks on a cross-country quest to get revenge on his ex-police partners who back stabbed him.”
The next main-series title, Battlefield 5 is set for a late 2016 release, it is likely to be developed by DICE, more to follow soon.
