“Whatever happens next, it’s not gonna go down the way you think it is.”
AMC has unleashed a full trailer for the final season of Better Call Saul, and as you’ll see, there are a lot of insane and intense things that are going to go down. This show is brilliant, and I’ve actually enjoyed it even more than Breaking Bad. I’m excited to see how this story plays out and it’s going to be awesome to see how the story comes to an end, which is very much the start of Breaking Bad.
The last season brings an end to Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill journey as he transforms into criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. “From the cartel to the courthouse, from Albuquerque to Omaha, season six tracks Jimmy, Saul, and Gene as well as Jimmy’s complex relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn), who is in the midst of her own existential crisis. Meanwhile, Mike (Jonathan Banks), Gus (Giancarlo Esposito), Nacho (Michael Mando), and Lalo (Tony Dalton) are locked into a game of cat and mouse with mortal stakes.”
Showrunner Peter Gould previously said in a statement, “In my eyes, this is our most ambitious, surprising and, yes, heartbreaking season. Even under incredibly challenging circumstances, the whole ‘Saul’ team — writers, cast, producers, directors and crew — have outdone themselves. I couldn’t be more excited to share what we’ve accomplished together.”
The seven-episode first part of Better Call Saul Season 6 will premiere on April 18th at 9 p.m. ET. on AMC and AMC Plus. Back-to-back episodes will air that night. After those first 7 episodes air, the second part of the season will start on July 11th.
