Jeep has unleashed an awesome Super Bowl commercial, which beautifully features Bill Murray and takes him back in the role of weatherman Phil Connors from the classic movie Groundhog Day, and one more time he is stuck in the town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. This is Murray’s first national commercial ever, and here is the note which released with the commercial:
It’s “Groundhog Day” all over again as Jeep brand debuts a Big Game spot starring Bill Murray. But this time reliving the same day over and over again is always a new adventure when you’re driving the 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Jeep. There’s only one.
The Super Bowl Jeep Commercial also brigs back Ned Ryerson, played by Stephen Tobolowsky, along with the mayor of Punxsutawney, once again by Bill Murray’s brother Brian Doyle Murray.
