Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new set of Blade Runner 2049 character posters and a new prequel short, titled 2048: Nowhere to Run, starring Dave Bautista.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve from a screenplay by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green, Blade Runner 2049 is based on characters from Philip K. Dick’s novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” It is based 30 years after the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
Blade Runner 2049 is coming to theaters on October 6, 2017.
