The only building in the world to host the Olympics, Super Bowl and Final Four was burned down Monday morning. A little more than 25 years after opening, the Georgia Dome, former home of the Atlanta Falcons and the scene for several historic sporting events, was imploded. The adjacent Mercedes-Benz Stadium opened this summer. More than 1,400 events took place at the Georgia Dome in its short lifespan, bringing in 39 million guests.
To capture the event for a live broadcast a cameraman can be heard losing his mind as a bus blocks his view at the precise moment the building collapses.
