Carey Mulligan’s Netflix Murder Mystery Thriller COLLATERAL Trailer

Netflix has released the trailer for the new upcoming murder mystery thriller with Carey Mulligan’s Collateral. It looks like an incredible show and it raises the question.. who murdered the pizza delivery driver and why?

Set over the course of four days, the story centers on Detective Inspector Kip Glaspie, who refuses to accept that the murder is a random act of senseless violence and becomes determined to discover if there is a darker truth. Politician David Mars instantly is embroiled in the drama through his turbulent relationship with his troubled and unpredictable ex, Karen. All the while, Jane Oliver, a compassionate vicar, struggles to conceal her affair with the only witness to the crime.

The movie originally aired on BBC Two, so this isn’t a Netflix original. But, it does get the Netflix seal of approval in the United States and this seal is good enough for the most of us. I love thriller crime stories and this one I have to check out.

Collateral comes from writer David Hare (The Reader) and director S.J. Clarkson (Jessica Jones). It also stars former Doctor Who co-stars Billie Piper, John Simm, Nicola Walker, Nathaniel Martello-White, Jeany Spark, Hayley Squires, Kim Medcalf and Ben Miles.
