Check Out The First Trailer For BAD BOYS FOR LIFE Starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence

Sony Pictures has revealed the first trailer for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s Bad Boys For Life. I was actually looking forward to this, but it does not look appealing. The comedy didn’t hit the mark and it just doesn’t bring anything unique or different to the table. This looks like a cash grab movie.

It’s a disgrace because I liked these characters and I love what Michael Bay did with the first two movies, but as you know, Michael Bay did not direct this new movie. Bad Boys For Life was directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed several films that I’ve never seen and I’m not fascinated by what I have seen in the trailer.

Here’s the synopsis:

Ride together. Die together. Bad Boys For Life. Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) is now a police inspector and Mike Lowrey (Smith) is in a midlife crisis. Both of them unite again when an Albanian mercenary, whose brother they defeated, promises them an important bonus in revenge.

I’m sure that there are some people out there who like what this first trailer shows off, I’m just not one of them. I’ll still see the movie in hopes that it exceeds the expectations that this trailer has set for me.

The movie stars Thomas Brag, Paola Núñez, Jacob Scipio, Joe Pantoliano, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton, Jamie Neumann, Massi Furlan, DJ Khaled, and Vanessa Hudgens.

Bad Boys For Life hits theaters on January 17, 2020.
