The SyFy Channel has unleashed a new clip from the new Child’s Play horror series Chucky. The clip features Zackary Arthur as Jake as he is struggling to dissect a frog during his science class at school. He is not cool with all the blood. Lucky for him, He got Chucky who knows what to do and helps him out with the cutting.
“After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”
The series also stars Teo Briones (Ratched), Alyvia Alyn Lind (Daybreak), and Björgvin Arnarson (The Seventh Day) as series regulars and the 4 teen leads. Jennifer Tilly is also coming back to her role as Tiffany Valentine from the movies, and Devon Sawa (Final Destination) has also signed up for a role. Brad Dourif is set to provide the voice of Chucky, which is a role he first played way back in 1988’s Child’s Play. He will be joined by his daughter, Fiona Dourif, who will reprise her role of Nica.
Chucky will premiere this fall on Syfy and USA Network on October 12th.
