Cooties Red Band Clip Released

Cooties is a great time. The killer kid horror-comedy from directors Jonathan Milott & Cary Murnion, and writers Ian Brennan (Glee) & Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious) is a balance of tone, from the gory and ferocious to the silly and self-aware. It’s all on display in this first Cooties Red Band clip, which finds the teachers unite against one of many diseased brats.

Cooties stars Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson and Alison Pill as a group of elementary school teachers under attack from kids-turned-rabid by infected chicken nuggets. Whannell also stars, giving an incredibly funny performance as the socially deficient Doug.

Here, the ensemble goes HAM on a little monster, swatting away until it goes after a stranger… and a punchline. Prior to its September bow, Cooties will play the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal this week.

Release Date September 18th.
