Crazy New Teaser Trailer Released For THE TWILIGHT ZONE Reboot

The new reboot of The Twilight Zone has started production and now we have a cool new teaser trailer for you, Ohhh it looks brilliant. Jordan Peele is producing the series for CBS All Access and he will also be stepping in the shoes of creator Rod Serling as the host of the show. When previously talking about the series, Peele explained:

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of ‘The Twilight Zone.’”

I’ve been hoping that the new series wouldn’t rework old episodes. I was hoping it would take fresh new stories for the new show. But, after watching the teaser set shown in the cover image for the teaser below, it looks like maybe this could be a remake of the classic William Shatner episode “Nick of Time”. You can see that it’s an old 1960s diner and the Mystic Seer in the background. I’m hoping that’s just an Easter egg that was just placed in there for fun, but we’ll have to wait and see.
