TBS has unveiled the trailer for the second season of its anthology series Miracle Workers. The amazingly fun first season featured Daniel Radcliffe, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Karan Soni as workers in heaven trying to stop God, who was played by Steve Buscemi, from destroying Earth.
The original cast is coming back for the second season, but it’s going to tell a completely new and different story. It’s titled Miracle Workers: Dark Ages, and it features all these actors in new roles as they are trying to survive the middle ages. Here’s the synopsis:

This 10-episode installment will feature Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, Jon Bass, and Lolly Adefope returning in new roles and facing new challenges. Executive produced by Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video with Andrew Singer and Katy Jenson executive producing alongside Rich, Radcliffe and Buscemi.
