THR reports that Radcliffe is in talks to play Sam Houser, the British co-founder and president of Rockstar Games and creator of the Grand Theft Auto games in a new BBC drama which is currently called Grand Theft Auto.
The series will apparently be about the battle between Houser and Jack Thompson, a Miami lawyer who wanted to ban violence in video games.
Thompson was an unorthodox Florida attorney who already attacking media companies for pushing rap and sex onto the airwaves when he turned his attention to what he saw as an obsession of glorifying violence in the video game industry. GTA was one of his favorite targets. He was disbarred in 2008 for inappropriate behavior.
