DC Comics and Marvel Comics may have been rivals, but that doesn’t mean they don’t appreciate each other for the work they’ve done, the tales they’ve told, and the characters they’ve produced.
In an act of class and professional courtesy, DC Entertainment has posted a tribute to Stan Lee in their first slate of 2019 comic book releases.
Lee passed away last year on November 12, 2018, at age 95. The official cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest with respiratory failure. Congestive heart failure aspiration pneumonia were also referenced as underlying causes. Lee’s wife Joan died in 2017, and he is now survived by his daughter, JC.
