San Diego Comic-Con revealed its plans for its virtual Comic-Con@Home event, DC is planning the same.
GWW is reporting that DC is preparing to host a free, multimedia virtual fan experience on August 22nd. It will be called DC FanDome and it will include big movies, games, comic books, and TV announcements.
Some of the titles expected to be present at the event, with virtual appearances from the casts and creators, are feature movies The Batman, Black Adam, The Suicide Squad, and Wonder Woman 1984, as well as TV shows such as Titans, Doom Patrol, and Stargirl.
The event promises to offer highly anticipated announcements and exclusive footage, as well as themed worlds to cater to fans of the movies, TV shows, video games, and of course the comics. Special presentations will be optional to the user, and it’s being described as a “virtual con” where fans will also be able to participate in events that have been localized for their specific region.
According to the report, the event will only be accessible for a 24 hour period, starting at 10 am PDT.
I’m super excited to see what DC is preparing to show off for The Batman, Black Adam, and The Suicide Squad!
